The Severn Valley Railway runs from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth with a station 10 mins walk from the campsite.  Trains run all Summer long and you may be lucky enough to come on a weekend of a special event.

The site is just a short walk away from the Wyre Forest a special ancient woodland habitat.  Explore the woodland walking or by bike or maybe from the treetops on Go Ape based at the Discovery Centre Bewdley.

Bewdley is the nearest town and is a beautiful Georgian riverside town.  There are many shops of interest a museum (free entry) with gardens and a cafe.  There are many cafes, pubs and sweet shops.

About us and your camp

Each sleeping tent is 6 metres in diameter

The sleeping tents are 6m in diameter (6 big strides) with double beds and single beds or all single beds.  Each bed has pillows pillow cases a base sheet and a fleece throw.  Bring along a duvet or sleeping bag. Sleeping tents have carpets and some furniture.  

 The facilities have the basic things like toilet rolls, washing up liquid and tea-towels.  The kitchen is fully equipped with 2 fridges, freezer,  2 full size cookers, microwave,  kettle and air fryer.

The lounge has a wood-burner and 4 sofas  outside a dining area with campfire and 2 bbqs.  

Dining room a covered area with bar and freezer.  large tables with chairs and ideal place if the weather is poor. 

Toilets and washrooms 3 shower cabins with 4 showers and 5 toilets.

 

Location: We are located in the Severn Valley near Bewdley Worcestershire.  The camp is set away from other campers up on top of a small hill with amazing views of the surrounding countryside.  Looking down to the village of Arley and the Severn Valley steam Railway.

1 minute walk to the Pub the Old New Inn
10 minutes walk to the Severn Valley steam railway, village of Arley and the River Severn. 
A 10 minute drive to Bewdley and the West Midlands Safari Park
Go Ape Wyre Forest high-wire adventure, forest footpaths, cycle routes and many other family visitor attractions.
Hire a bike and cycle the forest trails, horse riding or paddle the River Severn in a Canadian canoe
Fishing on-site plus archery, caving and laser tag nearby. Or more peaceful pastimes pottery painting or relaxing spa treatments from local beauticians.
